New Blood

With the incredible array of modelling talent coming out of the Netherlands it was only a matter of time before the Dutch released their very own version of fashion's bible Vogue. The premiere issue of Dutch Vogue features local girls Ymre Stiekema, Josefien Rodermans and Romee Strijd on the cover with the tag line "Number One in the Netherlands." The accompanying editorial lensed by Marc de Groot showcases the aforementioned models alongside newcomers Svea Kloosterhof, Imaan Hammam, Anne Verhallen and Rianne van Rompaey. Vogue Netherlands is the 19th edition of Vogue to be launched globally and features former Dutch Glamour editor and Holland's Next Top Model judge Karin Swerink at the helm. Swerink firmly stamps the debut issue with a distinct Dutch sensibility with the Dutch masters, bicycles, herrings and water canals featuring prominently in the editorial.
