Salvatore Ferragamo showed their Resort 2012 collection with a smattering of supermodels and up & coming new talent. Veterans Karolina Kurkova, Isabeli Fontana, Jamie Bochert and Bianca Balti returned to the runway for Massimiliano Giornetti's rocker-Billy edged collection. The Italian fashion house showed it's collection at the Louvre Museum, sending models down the runway in a flurry of fringed skirts, latticed leather dresses and snakeskin thigh high boots. The show's line-up featured faces of the moment Fei Fei Sun, Maria Bradley, Ava Smith and Julia Frauche as well as next season's sure-fire sensations Frida Aasen, Hedvig Palm and Xiao Wen Ju. Speaking with style.com, Giornetti sums up the fashion house's aesthetic and design philosophy "It's super-modern and yet connected with the classics because every piece is the product of a tradition of ancient craft. The Ferragamo girl is cool, but she's got culture."
