Vogue Grows Up

American Vogue embraces the Health Initiative's policy of not knowingly engaging models under sixteen years for the purposes of employment, with a gorgeous editorial shot by Norman Jean Roy. The cast of beauties range in age from twenty to forty-one, and includes industry veterans Claudia Schiffer, Stella Tenant, Karen Elson, Caroline Trentini, Chanel Iman, as well as rising stars Joan Smalls, Candice Swanepoel, Karlie Kloss, Arizona Muse, Marie Piovesan, Liu Wen and Kate Upton. The editorial entitled "the Vogue 120" showcases American Vogue's pick of the most influential models, actors, designers and singers in a portfolio which captures the imagination. It is wonderful to see such a diverse group of models in their twenties, thirties and more, conveying an aesthetic that is relatable, believable and above all else inspiring to the magazine's readership.
