Two Sides to Every Story

Parisian photographer Karim Sadli trains his meticulous lens on three of the most enigmatic faces of the Spring/Summer 2013 collections for Paris Vogue's November 2012 issue. Cora Emmanuel, Kati Nescher and Nadja Bender feature in the editorial which showcases both the natural and glamourous sides of this season's "it girls." Danish newcomer Nadja Bender's sultry allure is in stark contrast to the nonchalant "come as you are" beauty of Russian born German-raised Kati Nescher and the pristine gorgeousness of Martinique's Cora Emmanuel. The beauty editorial includes the three model's beauty tips which comprise of plenty of water, green tea and listening to Chopin for Nescher, roller blading and healthy eating for Bender, and a less is more approach for Emmanuel with plenty of fruit and energy bars to get her through the show season. Sadli, whose work is featured regularly in the pages of Paris and British Vogue, the Gentle Woman, i-D, and the Last Magazine, succeeds in capturing the individual and distinctive beauty of each model without allowing any one subject to dominate the editorial.
