Free Fall

Red hot Belgian-Japanese newcomer Yumi Lambert is proving to be one of the Spring/Summer 2013 season's key consolidators. Sixteen year old Lambert scored a plum spot in the Chanel Spring/Summer 2013 campaign starring alongside fellow teen model Ondria Hardin and industry veteran Stella Tenant. Represented by powerhouse agency IMG in New York, Lambert landed on Top 10 Newcomer lists for models.com and styleminutes.com courtesy of her show stopping appearances at Chanel, Fendi, Miu Miu, Prada, Dior, and Emilio Pucci amongst others. Hot on the heels of her blue chip Chanel campaign status, comes a spectacular Dazed & Confused editorial appearance in the publication's February 2013 issue. With the massive number of editorials which surface each month, it can be quite easy to become a little complacent when reviewing new material however Dazed & Confused never fails to deliver innovative and original content that has that crucial element of surprise. Belgian photographer and film maker Pierre Debusschere plays with visual movement and lighting to create a series of ethereal images which assault the senses. Lambert plays the muse as she is caught in mid flight and free fall motion for the stunning editorial appropriately titled "Age of Aquarius".
