Show Stoppers

Spanish Vogue showcases the Fall/Winter 2013 season's most memorable newcomers in an editorial for its March 2013 issue. Photographer Sharif Hamza presents a portfolio of portraits featuring a smattering of distinctly individual beauties including Anmari Botha, Magdalena Jasek, Stef Van der Laan, Irina Kravchenko, Sam Rollinson, Nastya Kusakina, Kel Markey, and Tilda Lindstam. Whether it be Anmari Botha's glacial chilled anitpodean vibes, Irina Kravchenko's cut from stone angular features, Nastya Kusakina's eerily haunting gaze, and Magadalena Jasek's contrasting red hair and pale freckled skin, what all these newcomers have in common is a non-conformist beauty and a strong runway presence. With casting directors turning their focus towards with individual beauty with impact, models are now relying increasingly on factors such as individual style, personality, and subtle imperfections to standout from the seemingly endless stream of pretty faces.
