Power Play - Cara Delevingne

Two of modelling and music's most influential players go head-to-head for the bumper September 2013 edition of British Vogue. Stunning pint-sized model of the moment Cara Delevingne poses alongside the ever suave musical boy wonder Pharell Williams for David Bailey's playful lens. Delevingne and Williams make quite the couple in casual looks ranging from crisp white shirts, camouflage coats, nylon bomber jackets, and matching ensembles from the Fall/Winter 2013 Louis Vuitton collection. With Williams' Daft Funk collaboration "Get Lucky" in high rotation on airwaves this Summer and the equally ubiquitous Delevingne injecting her high voltage personality into Fall/Winter 2013 campaign appearances for Fendi, DKNY, Mulberry and Pepe Jeans, the pairing of the enigmatic personalities is a stroke of casting genius. IMA encountered Delevingne during the Spring/Summer 2013 collections at the fittings for Oscar de la Renta and can attest to the larger than life personality and youthful effervescence which has the fashion industry swooning at her beck and call. What Delevingne brings to the fore aside from those obvious physical charms is a massive dose of charisma, fun, and a star quality which is reigniting the public's interest in models as personalities rather than as mere human clothes hangers.
