Face Value - Malaika Firth

Inoubliable Model Army Top 10 Newcomer caps off a phenomenal Spring/Summer 2014 season with a debut cover appearance for British Vogue's November 2013 supplement magazine More Dash than Cash. The bi-racial beauty is captured by photographer Nick Dorey for the cover and accompanying feature article. The nineteen year old newcomer launched an assault on the Spring/Summer 2014 season amassing a show tally of 55 blue chip bookings which included appearances at Calvin Klein, Proenza Schouler, Jason Wu, Prada, Emilio Pucci, and Miu Miu. It was Firth's opening and closing slot at Valentino which sealed the deal with the Premier-repped beauty taking to Instagram to express her joy, "Guess who opened and closed the show for Valentino!! I finally opened a show for the first time... I will always remember this day". Firth's British Vogue cover appearance is no doubt one of many firsts in a slew of landmark career achievements. Steven Meisel recently captured Firth for Prada's Fall/Winter 2013 campaign making her the first black model to represent the label since Naomi Campbell's 1994 campaign slot. Firth's angelic looks and spectacular runway presence have designers and photographers cooing in unison over the birth of fashion's newest modelling sensation.
