Fearless Forties - Kate Moss

Iconic supermodel Kate Moss roars into her forties with a stunning Spring/Summer 2014 campaign for Alexander McQueen lensed by Steven Klein. Donning a dirty canary yellow Tilda Swinton style wig and pieces from McQueen's gladiator-inspired Spring/Summer 2014 collection, Moss is the very embodiment of the warrior goddess. The campaign images feature Moss in a dimly lit apartment wearing designer Sarah Burton's leather bustier harness tops and pleated mini-dresses accessorised with gold armlets. The accompanying campaign video directed by Pascal Dangin trails Moss as she is pursued/lured from a deserted street corner to her apartment building where the supermodel faces her voyeuristic assailant with a fearless wanton look of desire. Adding to the campaign's ominous intrigue is a mini-Moss Voodoo doll decked out in matching McQueen ensembles which Moss keeps within arm's reach. With the majority of the Spring/Summer 2014 campaigns unveiled, Alexander McQueen has pipped Prada, Valentino, and Balenciaga at the post with what is undoubtedly the most memorable and provocative campaign of the season.
