Top 10 Newcomers F/W 2014 - Riley Montana

New York Model Management's Riley Montana was the newcomer with the most to prove at the Fall/Winter 2014 collections. Interest in Montana in the lead up to Fashion Week reached fever pitch courtesy of a Spring/Summer 2014 Balenciaga campaign berth shot by Mert & Marcus, and riveting editorial appearances for Love, Paris Vogue, CR Fashion Book, French Numéro, i-D, and W Magazine. The twenty-two year old Detroit native's modelling resumé is astounding given that she has been modelling for less than a year. The fashion industry appears to be completely enamoured by Montana's spectacular skin tone, high sculpted cheekbones, and feline features with designers and casting directors clamouring to feature her in their Fall/Winter 2014 show line-ups. Throughout the three fashion capitals, Montana has proven to be one of the most consistent players, logging runway mileage at Oscar de la Renta, Anna Sui, DKNY, Rodarte, Mary Katrantzou, Peter Pilotto, Preen, Bottega Veneta, Trussardi, Ermanno Scervino, and Fausto Puglisi. In the final leg of the Paris Fall/Winter 2014 collections, Montana showed her true mettle with ultra blue chip appearances at Balmain, Nina Ricci, and Rochas. No doubt Montana will end Fashion Week on a high note with designer Riccardo Tisci's backing at Givenchy.
