Call of the Wild - Freja Beha Erichsen

There are top models and then there are models whose character, personal style, and attitude places them in a whole other stratospheric league. Supermodel Freja Beha Erichsen has enjoyed the kind of modelling career the most models could only ever aspire to. The Dutch beauty first entered modelling's fray in in late 2004 after being discovered on the streets of Copenhagen by a model agent. The twenty-six year old IMG repped modelling renegade has since enjoyed a prolific career as an editorial darling for the French, Italian, British, and American versions of Vogue, V Magazine, i-D, Love, W, and virtually every publication worth reading in the fashion hemisphere. With a beauty so rare and impossible to label, Beha Erichsen striking looks have been compared to the late great Gia Carangi whose smouldering androgynous beauty lit up the fashion industry during the late 70s. Beha Erichsen is equally compelling playing the nomadic traveller for photographer Glen Luchford for Paris Vogue's April 2014 issue. Styled by Anastasia Barbieri in Spring/Summer 2014 looks from the collections of Céline, Calvin Klein Collection, Chloé, Donna Karan, and Bottega Veneta, Beha Erichsen takes to the the wild displaying the elusive quality that has kept the fashion industry at her beck and call.
