Apocalypse Now - Amanda Murphy

American beauty Amanda Murphy extends her versatility on film with an out of this world editorial feature in French Numéro's August 2014 edition. Photographer Greg Kadel captures the model of the moment in a stunning visual tour de force for the monster editorial "Créature". Fashion Editor Bill Mullen selects avant garde designs from the collections of Valentino, Balmain, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Hermés, and Jean Paul Gauliter in keeping with the editorial's brief. Make-up artist and hairstylist Marla Belt and Ward Stegerhoek complete Murphy's transformation into an otherworldly being hellbent on a full scale fashion apocalypse. On the modelling front, Murphy has dominated the campaign and editorial stakes throughout 2014. Recent pristine editorial and cover appearances for Vogue Italia, V Magazine, T Style Supplement, W, and the French and British editions of Vogue have Murphy marked as one of the most versatile and dynamic figures on the modelling landscape. At twenty-seven years of age and with a compelling Irish, German, and American Indian ancestry, Murphy's combination of life experience, maturity, and womanly beauty have aligned perfectly, drawing blue chip campaign interest from Prada, Céline, Bottega Veneta, Zara, Salvatore Ferragamo, Hugo Boss, Dsquared2, and H&M.
