It is always particularly gratifying to witness a model who has paid her dues breaking through to modelling's elite ranks via a combination of perseverance, hard work, and prescient timing. For seventeen year old British newcomer Zoë Huxford, the Spring/Summer 2015 season delivered a pristine show list which included appearances at Jil Sander, Prada, Marni, Alexander McQueen, Givenchy, JW Anderson, Alberta Ferretti, Lanvin, and Giambattista Valli. Discovered 18 months ago while shopping for her prom dress, Essex native Huxford made serious inroads during her debut season at the Spring/Summer 2014 collections walking most notably for Jil Sander, Balenciaga, and Louis Vuitton. With school being a key focus, Huxford scaled back her presence at the Fall/Winter 2014 shows appearing selectively at London Fashion Week and at Dries Van Noten in Paris. Upon completion of her higher school studies, Huxford emerged at the Spring/Summer 2015 collections with Elite Model Management in London and Paris navigating her course with pinpoint precision. IMA met Huxford at castings for Cédric Charlier where her towering 180 cm athletic frame, sculptural features, and ethnic ambiguity sent red flags flying. Disarmingly funny and charismatic with the kind of beauty that stands out in any line-up, Huxford is "Inoubliable" in every sense of the word.
