Shake it Off - Maartje Verhoef

The Spring/Summer 2015 show season was dominated by a new collective of models whose radiant fresh faced beauty and youthful optimism is proved to be the perfect antidote to the world's current state of flux. Leading the charge was seventeen year old Dutch newcomer Martje Verhoef who slayed the Spring/Summer 2015 runways with an epic 66 show bookings including nine opening/closing slots. Verhoef's svelte 179 cm frame, perfectly symmetrical features, and versatile beauty made her the most sought after model of the season. Photographer Daniel Jackson captures Verhoef's effervescence and flawless beauty for Vogue China's "Classic Moods" editorial with fashion editor Tina Laakkonen decking out the Dutchie in luxuriant furs and elegant ensembles from the Fall/Winter 2014 collections of Céline, Prada, Dior, Gucci, Chloé, and Rochas. Since her stunning international runway debut two years ago opening for Prada at the Spring/Summer 2013 collections, Verhoef's rise through industry ranks has been carefully engineered by her management team at Micha Models and Women Management. Having recently completed her high school studies, Verhoef has been fully unleashed on the fashion world via a flurry of editorial bookings for M Le Magazine du Monde, WSJ, Document, and Interview with plenty more to follow.
