Seasonal Change - Alisa Ahmann

One of IMA's favourite newcomers Alisa Ahmann heads into the Fall/Winter 2015 season with a massive deluge of interest following a discernible absence last Fashion Week which has only served to up the ante of interest from casting directors, designers, and industry heavyweights. The twenty-year old teutonic blonde has emerged as a true contender over the past six months with blue chip campaigns for Gucci, Alberta Ferretti, and Massimo Dutti under her lithe belt. In the editorial stakes, Ahmann knocks the ball out of the park with a succession of stellar appearances in the pages of i-D, French Numéro, Porter, and the French, German, Chinese, and Japanese editions of Vogue. The winning formula to Ahmann's success may be attributed to her raw natural beauty, compelling versatility, and an 80's supermodel vibe that has model watchers eagerly anticipating her next move. This month, Ahmann's spell-binding beauty is captured by photographer Zee Nunes for Vogue Brasil on the sidewalks of Manhattan while basking in the warm Autumnal sun. Fashion editor Pedro Sales decks Ahmann out in colourful retro prints, patchwork coats, and wide-brimmed hats as she embraces the changing of the seasons. IMA met and interviewed Ahmann in March 2014 and was captivated by her free spirited and personable nature and her "desire to live and enjoy life every second."
