Top Ten Newcomers S/S 16 - Hyunji Shin

IMA has had it's eye trained firmly on eighteen year old newcomer Hyunji Shin since she took out the title of Korea's Next Top Model back in 2013. The South Korean beauty has been steadily gaining momentum with modelling stints in Australia and Paris yielding editorial bookings for the Journal Magazine, 160g, Stylist France, Elle Australia, i-D Online Australia, and Oyster. Shin debuted internationally at Paris Fashion Week during the Spring/Summer 2015 season treading the board for Comme des Garçons, Nehera, and Allude. With representation by powerhouse agency IMG Models Worldwide, Shin reemerged at the Spring/Summer 2016 collections looking immaculate and primed to take on the four major fashion capitals. Shin's exotic fresh-faced beauty with a twist was championed most notably by casting director Ashley Brokaw who cast Shin in her line-ups for Coach, Prada, and Miu Miu. With additional turns on the runway at Tome, Yigal Azrouel, Public School, Rodarte, Paul Smith, Mary Katrantzou, Dries Van Noten, Isabel Marant, Elie Saab, and John Galliano, Shin's blue chip zeal and endearing runway presence land her a coveted spot in IMA's Top Ten Newcomers List for the Spring/Summer 2016 season.
