Hunan native He Cong embarked on her first full show season at the Fall/Winter 2016 collections and her unique blend of in your face otherworldly beauty and cool girl appeal has left designers and casting directors enraptured. The twenty year old newcomer was discovered two years ago by mother agency Style Management Hong Kong and was signed internationally by powerhouse agency IMG Models before launching at the F/W 2015 shows. Fast forward 12 months and Cong has galvanised industry attention with head turning appearances at Proenza Schouler, Narciso Rodriguez, Vera Wang, J.W. Anderson, Christopher Kane, Burberry Prorsum, Emilio Pucci, Marni, Blumarine, Missoni, Dolce & Gabbana, Rochas, and Chloé. Cong's cherubic features, crescent-shaped eyes, and 178 cm runway perfect proportions are a hit on and off the catwalk. Cong has wracked up editorial bookings for the Chinese editions of T Style, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, and L'Officiel, in addition to a plum spot in Dolce & Gabbana's Spring/Summer 2016 campaign. IMG agent Glenn Valentine sums up Cong's Inoubliable appeal "She doesn't look like any other Asian girl out there in the market now - she has a very discernible doll-like face, coupled with a killer walk and body, and the sweetest of personalities."
